The fastest desktop storage solution yet!
 BLOODRAGE features the new SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) device controller, which enables the connection of up to 2 high-performance SCSI storage solutions. This means you can use speedy 15000rpm SAS hard drives, and because it also supports eSATA and SATA drives you can connect standard 5400rpm drives as well. With 2 drives connected, you can set up RAID 0 or 1 configurations for more flexibility in performance and data security.
As usual, Quantum Force engineers have provided a liberal range of other connectivity technologies, including 6* SATAII connectors with Intel® Matrix Storage Technology RAID configuration options, 2* eSATA connectors for quick and speedy connection to external storage drives, 2* 1394a FireWire connectors and 12* USB2.0 connectors (with 8 mounted on the external I/O).
For network connectivity, Dual Gigabit LAN with Teaming is provided, so users can combine the 2 ethernet interfaces into a single logical interface, resulting in increased bandwidth.

 A hallmark of Quantum Force motherboards are the unique touches which bring added convenience and value to enthusiasts. BLOODRAGE is no different, and introduces yet another innovation - the Force Reset button. This magic button not only re-boots the system, but also ‘re-tunes’ the computer.
Sometimes when applying overclocking settings that cause the computer to fail, a normal re-boot will not reset the system properly, thereby limiting the chance of applying demanding new overclocking settings. The Force Reset button not only re-boots the computer, but triggers the CPU, memory controller and chipset to re-initialize, run hardware checks and timing algorithms before reloading with the new overclocking settings, greatly increasing the tolerance for demanding system settings.

 In addition to Force Reset, BLOODRAGE also includes re-designed power/reset buttons on the PCB, and the useful Twin BIOS feature which safeguards against BIOS corruption by providing two separate and removable BIOS chips. Using Twin BIOS, users can easily replace a failed BIOS chip and ‘hot flash’ it by using the BIOS menu to copy the good BIOS to the new replacement chip.

 Further useful touches for enthusiasts include PCB voltage sensors which allow users to take voltage readings for the CPU, memory and northbridge directly from the PCB. The sensors are located near the memory DIMM sockets. Enthusiasts will also benefit from socket LGA775 CPU fan compatibility, which means there is no need to discard your old CPU cooling solution for the new socket 1366 Core™ i7 processors. |
 The optional QF Panel makes OC’ing quick and convenient. Simply slot into a 5 1/4" drive bay and connect to the motherboard for one-touch overclocking, voltage adjustment and fan speed controls. The LCD display also provides a convenient debug display for Post errors when booting up the system. |
