FOXCONN unveils new QF motherboards at CeBIT DREADNOUGHT and DESTORYER to join BLACKOPS board
Three new Quantum Force motherboards are on show at FOXCONN's CeBIT booth, including DREADNOUGHT (based on nForce 790i Ultra SLI), DESTROYER (nForce 780a SLI) and BLACKOPS (Intel X48).
The new line-up of Quantum Force motherboards will enter the market in ‘the next 2 months’ according to sources, and include all-new features such as Quantum BIOS, 4in1 Quantum Cooler, 8 phase Digital PWM, SONAR audio daughter card and other innovations for enthusiasts, which FOXCONN are currently keeping under their hat.
The DESTROYER motherboard, the first Quantum Force product for the AMD platform offers 3-way SLI and the ability to install 4 graphics cards in a 4* PCIe x8 configuration. It also features Hybrid SLI™ technologies – GeForce® Boost (which boost the power of installed graphics cards by running in tandem with an integrated graphics chip) and HybridPower™ (which shuts down installed graphics cards when they are not needed).

The DREADNOUGHT motherboard, designed for running SLI rigs on the Intel platform, shares several features with the BLACKOPS motherboard, including the 4in1 Quantum Cooler and 8 phase Digital PWM.

Both motherboards, along with the BLACKOPS motherboard seen earlier this year at CES, will be available in the next few months, giving enthusiasts a wide choice of possible processor and graphics card configurations.
